I am dedicating this book to writer Ellen White who basically saved my life through her writings in her book called “The Ministry of Healing”. Her and the health message of The Seventh-day Adventist church are responsible for extending the lives of countless people in and out of the SDA church. Many of the health and life altering topics covered in this book were inspired by Ms. Whites ideas and writings. I am 85 years old and take no medications. I am blessed to have been introduced to the SDA philosophies regarding health and because of that am now able to do my chores and remember where I put my keys.
Introduction
There is a good reason why I began writing this book with some words about addiction. Getting to a place where our focus is on achieving and maintaining a strong mind and body is always a timeconsuming task. Developing a strategy for implementing that job is much more than worthwhile. It is vital. It is going to be so worth the time invested. You will never be sorry that you read and absorbed the information in this book. Keep reading. This is important.
Most know that without health, wealth means little. This book in your hands can provide you with most of the information you need to not only survive but thrive in a world where bad food, nasty potions, and disease are running rampant. You don’t want to take part in any of that. The only thing any of us want to get addicted to is getting on, and staying on, a pathway to great health.
Pie Chart
My suggestion before reading on is that you pause and make a pie chart about your life as you exist at the present time. Your chart will include pieces that mark your time sleeping, working, and eating. Also, there should be sections that show how much of your day is dedicated to exercise, meditation, and reading. Entertainment and social time should also be included.

It is not so important that you start this book at the beginning. Rather than starting on page one I suggest you look over the chapter here. The focus is on providing information that can help you avoid all of that. The purpose is to give you many ideas that can help you develop a lifestyle that will launch your daily intake to a limited with a great healthy outlook.
An amazing life is yours for the taking. It will require a diet of only good food with an occasional treat as a reward rather than a daily habit. It will require ignoring all of the disinformation running rampant. You have in your hands the beginning of something really big. Take the time to immerse yourself in this and other books to get to the heart of the matter.
