Chapter Nine: Get Released Early For Good Behavior
When I was a kid in grade school, any kid who received a star on their report card for good behavior was known as a nerd or teacher's pet. It may have just been that the rest of the kids who never got a star were jealous. Any inmate in prison who gets out early for good behavior is probably not known as a nerd. They are most assuredly known as a survivor. My advice is to always color within the lines. Push the envelope but stay within the law. You always want to stay in the fight, and you always want to fight to win, but you will never come out on top with merely good behavior. There is so much out there for the taking. Remember that trying but not coming in first place means that you were in the race. You trained hard and showed that you were part of the team. Now it’s game time and you are a player. That should be exciting to you. It is to me.
